This is a great product. I use it on my hands and the 8oz tub has lasted a long time. Yes, it is expensive, but it's also highly effective and doesn't take much. The lotion itself is very thick and smells a bit like clay. Rub a quarter size's worth into your hands and they soften up immediately. I get very dry hands and my skin will sometimes crack painfully between the fingers. It takes two or three passes with this moisturizer over the course of an hour and the cracks are on their way to gone and my skin softened. Gets in deep and leaves a bit of an oily residue but doesn't stain clothing.
Have not tried this anywhere other than my hands so I can't comment on how it works as a body moisturizer.
I got this tub as a reject from my girlfriend - she has sensitive skin and it did not react well. So you should know that if you have highly sensitive skin it may not be for you. Otherwise, it's great!
