 La Roche Posay changed their formula...and they shouldn't have. Feb 06, 2012

I used to love this product. It was *the* perfect spot treatment. It was out of stock for months from La Roche Posay and 3rd party sellers, and the moment it came back in stock, I snagged two boxes so I wouldn't be left without it again in the near future. Well, the formula has completely changed, the smell is awful and I think whatever "anti-relapse" agent they're using is what causes *worse* acne to emerge. Maybe it clears up eventually, but I don't use a "spot" treatment to make my acne worse. I hope La Roche Posay learns from their mistake and reverts to the original, flawless formula.

I got this to help the clogged pores on my chin, gave me the most painful, deep, humongous cystic acne I have ever had. I've stopped using it and the acne is clearing up.

I've been using the product for over 2 weeks and I don't see any change at all in my skin.

Good product if you are diligent about using it. I have acne prone skin around my chin and jawline. Mostly hormonal. I also have pretty sensitive skin. My skin requires me to be very carful in terms of what products I select to put on my skin. I know some reviews have stated that this product may not work but i experimented a bit. I have found that the best results will be had if use this product diligently. Apply it one in the day with on clean skin and once in the night on clean skin. I have found that it actually does reduce the clogged pore when used twice a day and every day. I also used this once every other day and once every few days with no success. It prevented further breakouts in the problem jawline area once I went to applying the product topically twice a day. unfortunately you will need to be a bit patient to see relatively good results.

I have used this brand product for a long time and ordered the la roche-posay effaclar acne treatment and received this product instead. The description stated it was the acne treatment and no where on the box states that at all, so i emailed the seller and the seller stated that la roche has had made a change to the product box and it was the same product, well on the tube or box no description of acne treatment, just says Oily renovating anti-relapse treatment. I am sure this product may work for other problems but not what I was needing. I spent over 20 bucks and lets say that its not working and made my acne even look worse and i know this is not the same product, because like I stated i used the orignal product before and would clear up just fine. So now i will have go back and order from the original seller. Please make sure the product you use and the product you receive are the same and matching up tube and box. I will be more aware of this.
