I am now a BedHead Hairspray addict. I can't believe how GREAT it is! In fact, I didn't believe it when my daughter told me that she pays extra for hairspray because I thought that all hairsprays were created equal. I would buy the cheap stuff that said "extra hold" on it and told her she was wasting her money. BOY WAS I WRONG! She handed it to me and said "give it a try". I'll tell you it was like NIGHT and DAY to the "extra hold stuff" I used to buy. It's not sticky, doesn't have a heavy residue, it just does exactly what hairspray SHOULD DO and does it perfectly. It's tough to explain but I will say, if you want long lasting hairspray that works without sticky residue, this is it. They have it mastered.
Every time we travel we always have to find the nearest store to buy it (due to airport regulations on traveling with aerosols) because no ordinary hairspray will do anymore! My daughter laughs now because she was absolutely right! Who would have thought that there IS a difference! Love it! If you are even a slightly bit skeptical at least give it a try to see for yourself. It's a fantastic product which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This hair spray is the strongest I've ever used. I wouldn't recommend it for every day use, more for an up-do. I use it when styling hair for actors before theater performances. They can dance, sweat, whatever, and this stuff stays strong.

i live on the water so i was looking for a hair spray to keep my hair in place and this really works. the only problem i found is it makes my hair really stiff. so i have to wash it out every night i use it. will buy again

The Best Hairspray I've Ever Used! Apr 20, 2012

To start off, I would like to say that my hair type and style is probably different from those of most other reviewers. I have what most people like to call "Anime Hair", which means it is dyed, severely layered, and spikey/messy/fluffy. I've tried many hairsprays, from the cheaper ones such as Pantene and Tresemme, to the more expensive ones such as Sebastian Shaper Fierce, Matrix Vavoom, and now TIGI Bed Head Hard Head. The cheaper products did not hold as well unless I put many layers; however, this would make my hair extremely stiff and unnatural-looking - I don't like to have the individual spikes be too defined as I feel it takes away from the natural-ness (if that's a word). Further, it would never last more than a few hours before my hair started losing its volume and definition. Sebastian worked fairly well, but would also give my hair a bit of a "wet" look. It also would not hold up under windy conditions. Matrix Vavoom simply did nothing for my hair - I sprayed on several layers, and by the time I walked to my car from my house, the hairspray was completely gone, and it was like I had put nothing in my hair.
I read up on some reviews about TIGI Bed Head Hard Head, and so I decided to try it - I am extremely glad I did! This hairspray has an extremely light and pleasant scent, and it seems to be indestructible. I spray on only 2 layers in the morning after I style my hair, and it lasts the entire day. I walked outside in windy conditions, and my hair was still EXACTLY the same as it was when I first sprayed it! Later that day, I was even walking outside for around 20 minutes as it was drizzling/raining lightly - I was sure my hair would be dead, but when I looked at the mirror in my car, my hair was still perfect!
I also sleep with the hairspray still in my hair, and it does not flake or do anything of the sort. I usually wash it out in the morning when I shower, and it washes out easily, without leaving any residue in my hair. I honestly feel that this hairspray is perfect in every way - it smells nice, it holds my hair perfectly (which no other hairspray has been able to do until now), and it is easy to remove!
For anyone who's on the fence about buying this hairspray or is just looking for an amazing hairspray, buy this and you won't regret it!

"Getting your money's worth"
I have tried many hair sprays.....hands down.....this is my all time favorite! I have fine, limp, short hair and this product gives me the ability to work with it......yet keep the hold ALL DAY LONG.
