So far I love my bean!!! I've wanted one for years and haven't been disappointed-(At least not yet!)
I ordered The Bean Elite featured here, but by happy accident ended up with The Bean Supreme instead. I wanted the Supreme version to start with but couldn't find it anywhere on this site! I was ecstatic to find out that I had ended up with the supreme version!!!
However, if I had wanted the elite version I think I'd be pretty PO'd. Oh well!
I've only had my bean for a few days but if I'm ever unhappy with it~(unlikely!) I'll definitely update my review!
I bought Fix-A-Flat - Tire Inflator with Hose, 16 oz. (S420-6) to go along with mine and I haven't had to use it yet but other reviews suggest its effective with this product! I sure hope that if I ever do need it works out ok! Then again I also hope I'll never need to use it on my bean.
(With the large amount of people complaining of deflation I suggest that you get a can of Fix-A-Flat - Tire Inflator with Hose, 16 oz. (S420-6) along with yours too.)

The Bean Elite from Planet Stuff full of HOT AIR Aug 29, 2011

I am a physican and acupuncturist. I was very excited to recommend The Bean Elite for core strengthening to my patients with neck and back issues. I ordered it to try for myself and was appalled and disappointed.
The Bean Elite is clearly pictured as having handles for stability and contoured ends for back and neck support.
Mine arrived. It was more of a question mark shape (only one contoured end at the bottom and no room for head or neck!) and did not have handles.
I called Amazon to get the number for the distributor, Planet Stuff. Amazon did not have their number, so I have to return "The Bean" to Amazon. If a vendor will not/does not make their information available to customers or the company that distributes their products, one can only assume the company (in this case Planet Stuff) is NOT CREDIBLE. Further, it is obvious they (Planet Stuff) engage in FALSE ADVERTISING. I have since spoken to patients who have tried to order The Bean (and other products) from Planet Stuff and had similar experiences. I am sooo disappointed, as I and many of my patients will not be able to experience the benefits of The Bean Elite due to false advertising by a company that obviously has no concern regarding customer satisfaction or service.

The product that was pictured and called the Bean Elite was not the Bean Elite but the smaller original bean. I am not the only one this has happened to according to the reviews. So this gets 2 star for the vendor. I have had a Bean Elite and I would give it 4 stars because you can work your abs but not hurt your back. Would not buy from this vendor on this item.

My previous beanie got a hole in it and I could not repair it, so when I came to Amazon to search for a new one it was the right choice for me to make since they had an affordable/durable new one.

I wish I would have read the reviews on this item before I purchased it.That was my faulf lesson learned. It was smaller than my last one. This came to me with a hole in it much like many of the other reviews stated would not hold air. There was a posting from a corp head stating this was a quality product and all complaints would be address and satisfied. I called the 800 number it was disconnected (immagine that) I guess when your phone won't quit ringing with angry people it must be hard to staff them. When you are held to your word then don't follow thru people tend to get cranky, myself included...very cranky. This product is made in china no wonder it won't hold air they don't care they have nothing to loss because we will just send them another job to do if this one fails.
THANK God for Amazon they are a stand up company they made it right and right away!! I will ALWAYS shop Amazon. Great deals great service just read the reviews first :)
