I have been using this product forever as it is a great moisturizing toner. I ordered the ENRICHED balancing softener, but received the shiseido benefiance balancing softener and it is not as moisturizing and not as good as what I ordered. I understand they look the same, but they are not the same.

Great product , especially good for dry skin in winter time. I ordered several products & was surprised by the quality of this one. I have ordered one for my mom & my mother-in-law.

I use Enriched Balancing Softener just like a toner, moistening a cotton ball and wiping over my face. It has a soft, pleasant scent, similar to the other products in the Benefiance line of skincare products. I thought it looked sort of oily in the bottle, but on my skin, it doesn't feel that way. It leaves my skin soft and smooth and not dried out and taut like a toner. But did it clean away excess dirt? Yes! I saw makeup on the cotton ball, so it obviously works much like a toner. I didn't notice much improvement in the actual appearance of my skin, nor did I feel that it was a true exfoliating product, in that it doesn't really seem to leave skin feeling rejuvenated, only perhaps more clean.
I feel that this is a good product for women with normal to dry/very dry skin who want the benefits of a toner without the excessive drying that such alcohol-based products impart on skin. It does indeed provide additional cleansing as well as softening skin. But the price is very steep! If you can afford it, go for it, but unless I get it as a gift again, I won't be buying it.
