My girlfriend loves this lip gloss, so I wanted to get it for her as a Christmas gift. I went to Macy's, and Nordtrom to find it, but neither store had it in stock. So going to the stores didn't save me any time. Luckily I had no problem getting it through Amazon.

After a lot of confusion on which brand gloss to buy, I bought a Chantecaille in Glee since Angeline Jolie uses this brand and the Chanel one seemed much stickier. However, I was disappointed because Chantecaille does not have staying power at all. I walked to the Chanel counter and bought Desir. While the gloss is stickier, it has staying power and I love the shimmer on the gloss. It is less sticky if applied on a lipstick. Next time I will stay with Chanel glosses, the quality is superb and colors awesome. I highly recommend this product. It is sticky but has more staying power because of it. The glosses have some shimmer, but the shimmer is subtle and enough to brighten a lipstick and use on its own. Chanel glosses are also more pigmented than Chantecaille and can be used on their own. They don't run outside the lips like other glosses I have used.
