Still manly after all these years... Jan 23, 2012
By J. Peek
"FlixFan"
This is not an unbiased review. I've been fan of "Armani", by Giorgio Armani for decades.
Being an older man, and therefore a grownup, I've notice that the aroma's that men and yes, boys wish to wrap themselves in changes with their age. Certainly mine did.
I went though, Aqua Velva, Old Spice, English Leather, Aqua Levanda, Polo, Drakar Noir, Perry Ellis and back to Polo. All in the often vain attempt to bait the hook for the ladies, and yes the girl's too when I was younger.
They all worked to a greater or lesser degree to both attract and coverup my cigarette habit till I was 40 and quit.
Then I believe that sometime in the early 1980's I was shopping for some perfume for my wife and stopped by the men's fragrance counter as well. A young man behind the counter asked if he could help and suggested Armani. He said, "I think you will like this as it settles close to the body." He was right on both counts.
If you've outgrown Axe and Old Spice and you're looking for a more subtle scent, albeit a little more expensive, but a none the less, pleasantly attractive aroma, then I would highly recommend "Armani".
We can't be 30 again, and any man that tells you he wouldn't want to be, is lying, but that doesn't mean you can't smell good. "Armani" will help you do that.
