this foot cream saved my feet Aug 11, 2007
By Jacques G. Provost
"bookworm"
I have tried different foot salves in the past but none did anything to heal my feet from cracked heels, brittle toenails, continually blistering & peeling skin in front of my toenails and never ending fungus infections from the sand on the beach... I was getting worried and then by pure chance I stepped into a L'Occitane store in Honolulu attracted by the smell of lavender and I bought one of these tubes of foot cream...
Well within a week my feet felt 100% better... I just finished my first tube which lasted 2 months [morning & evening applications] and my feet are completely healed beyond my wildest expectations... my acupuncturist recently told me my feet looked like baby's feet... that's how good they feel too... I even noticed how much more sensitive they are... when my acupuncturist needles my feet and inadvertently brushes against them, I noticed they are as ticklish as when I was a kid...
Well I'm getting my second tube now and will continue to take good care of my feet as they are our connection with the earth...
Thank you L'Occitane...

Nice For What It Is Feb 07, 2005
By Elizabeth A. Borst I like the feel of L'Occitane products and in that regard this foot cream didn't disappoint. While it was very soothing to the feet and would feel good after a long day in heels it does little to treat rough calloused feet. For a foot cream that really works try Soul Owner by Philosophy, and if you don't want the industrial strength of that Peter Thomas Roth makes a great one in a big jar with AHA's. It's not that I disliked L'Occitane and I do like shea butter but I needed more to tackle my tough tootsies.

Pure bliss Feb 20, 2005

I discovered this product two years ago in Paris, and I am delighted to see it available here. It smells fabulous (and I am sensitive to many fragrances -- this lavender scent is lovely). It feels even better.

product review Jul 29, 2008
By DNF I apply the foot cream in the morning and my feet look hydrated throughout the day. There is a definite reduction in some of the smaller callouses I had on my toes and heels. However, some of the more stubborn ones I have on the soles of my feet have not improved. I still give the product 5 stars as it definitely makes my feet look and feel softer and smoother.

Luscious Cream for the Tootsies Jul 26, 2004

Our feet are so often ignored, abused by fashionable shoes, concrete floors, and assigned to carry all our weight; when our feet start to complain, with that burning ache that can make the rest of the body feel awful, L'Occitane Foot Cream with Shea Butter seeps into the skin and feels heavenly, soothing and moisturizing without leaving a greasy feel after it has been massaged in.
With a wonderful aroma of lavender, and with the healing properties of arnica, this is a treat for your aching tootsies. Arnica, which has been used for centuries to reduce inflammation, is an ingredient especially appreciated by those who are athletic, helping to alleviate the inevitable pain that comes from certain sports.
The metallic container, though attractive when new, quickly starts to look like an old toothpaste tube, and takes up a lot of space, as it has to lay flat. If the cap was designed to be larger and with flat top (the top has a tiny ridge with a total circumference of 5/8ths of an inch), one could stand it upside-down on its cap, the way I keep two hand cream tubes I own. Without this packaging design flaw, this product would get my highest rating. It would also be improved by including a "key," the type that used to be available for toothpaste tubes, so you could roll up smoothly and evenly (and you wouldn't lose any of this marvelous foot cream!).
